Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Traveling Assistant Project Manager with disaster restoration experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing mitigation projects, ensuring that all operations run smoothly, efficiently, and within budget while traveling to various project sites as needed. Key Responsibilities • Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing restoration projects from start to finish, including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control • Supervise onsite crews to ensure adherence to safety protocols and project timelines. • Coordinate with Supervisors, Project Managers and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and project flow. • Maintain jobsite documentation, including daily logs, inventories, reports, permits, timesheets, and material records. • Be available for a 24/7 on-call rotation to respond to emergency situations promptly. • Travel to different job sites as required to manage projects and support teams. Qualifications • Prior experience running small mitigation projects. • Ability to travel frequently and work at various locations. • Availability for a 24/7 on-call rotation. • Strong leadership and crew supervision skills. • Excellent communication and organizational abilities. • IICRC Certifications are a plus but not required.
