Category: Construction Location: Job Title: RoofingEstimator Industry:Construction Employment Type: FullTime Rate: 10AUD/hour(negotiable) Key Tasks: • Perform accurate quantity take-offs forcommercial/industrial metal roofing projects • Prepare detailed pricing estimates andquotations based on plans and specifications • Review drawings, specifications, and tenderdocuments • Ensure high accuracy and completeness of allestimates and submissions • Liaise with internal teams to clarify scopeand requirements • Support project team in securing work andpreparing tender submissions • Maintain organized documentation and trackingof estimates and bids • Contribute to continuous improvement ofestimating processes Required Experience& Qualifications (Non-Negotiable) • Provenexperience as a Metal Roofing Estimator • Commercial/Industrial metal roofing background • Demonstrableexperience completing accurate take-offs and pricing • Strongability to read construction plans for industrial buildings • Trackrecord of producing accurate, error-free estimates • Abilityto work independently without heavy oversight Client-SpecificRequirement: • Must have done metal roofing estimating forAustralia (preferred) • If not Australia, must show direct,comparable industrial metal roofing estimating experience (e.g., US commercialmarket) with demonstrated accuracy and proven ability to adapt • High attention to detail — no room forrecurring basic errors Preferred Skills • Experience with Australian constructionstandards and roofing components • Familiarity with roofing materials,structural steel, flashings, gutters, and insulation systems • Proficiency in take-off/estimating software(e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff) • Strong analytical and mathematical skills • Excellent communication and documentationabilities • Ability to work under pressure and handlemultiple tenders simultaneously Soft Skills ·Highly reliable and proactive ·Strong problem-solving skills • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail • Fast learner who can operate independently • Professional, committed, and accountable Details
