Role OverviewIn this role, you’ll be talking and demoing to our customers and building relationships for the future too. You'll be running technical demos of the product, and be a product expert for our customers.
As our first dedicated sales hire at Lightdash, you'll be a builder-seller hybrid, working to transform our early customer wins into a structured, repeatable sales motion. You'll work directly with the CEO to establish our core sales framework while actively selling.
What you'll be doingHelp bring leads from our open-source ecosystem into the sales funnel
Running product demos on your own without sales engineers - our customers love us since we speak data, we'll expect you to be able to do this too.
Own the full sales cycle while documenting what works to create a scalable process for sales
Provide voice-of-customer feedback to product team
Contribute to sales collateral for future deals
Help test and validate new sales approaches
3+ years of technical B2B startup sales experience
Strong analytical and documentation abilities
Excellent communication across technical/business stakeholders
You've owned customer relationships in the past, selling $20k-100k+ ACV deals
Data driven curiosity and interest in data and analytics
Interest in data and analytics
Experience with outbound prospecting
