Position: Sustainability Consultant CSRWORKS INTERNATIONAL Role and introduction CSRWorks International is a boutique-style sustainability consulting, assurance, and training firm headquartered in Singapore, working with clients across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. We support organisations on sustainability strategy, reporting, climate action, sustainability ratings, human rights, and assurance. We are hiring a Sustainability Consultant to join our consulting team. This is a manager-level role for professionals with 5–7 years of relevant experience who can lead client engagements end-to-end, provide technical and commercial leadership, and contribute directly to business growth. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, take ownership of engagement delivery and commercial outcomes, and play a key role in developing client relationships, growing accounts, and mentoring team members. Responsibilities • Lead and deliver sustainability consulting engagements across: • Sustainability reporting (GRI, ISSB, ESRS) • Climate and carbon services, including climate risk reporting (TCFD / ISSB S2), GHG accounting (Scope 1, 2 and 3), decarbonisation roadmaps, and transition plans • Sustainability ratings and assessments (CDP, Eco Vadis, S&P CSA) • Human rights and responsible business initiatives • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear technical guidance and strategic advice • Own project planning, execution, timelines, resourcing, quality assurance, and delivery outcomes • Review and sign off on technical analyses, calculations, disclosures, and client-ready deliverables • Lead and support business development activities, including identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, and developing proposals • Own or co-own engagement scoping, pricing, and commercial outcomes • Drive account growth through cross-selling and long-term client relationships • Participate in client pitches, proposal presentations, and closing discussions • Provide mentoring, technical oversight, and coaching to Sustainability Analysts and Associates • Stay current on evolving sustainability standards, regulations, and best practices, and guide their application in client work • Contribute to internal knowledge development, practice improvement, and thought leadership initiatives Requirements • 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in sustainability consulting, advisory, assurance, or in-house sustainability roles • Strong hands-on expertise in one or more of the following areas: • Sustainability reporting (GRI, ISSB, ESRS) • Climate risk and disclosure (TCFD / ISSB S2) • GHG accounting (Scope 1, 2 and 3), decarbonisation strategies, and transition planning • Sustainability ratings and assessments (CDP, Eco Vadis, S&P CSA) • Human rights, social compliance, or responsible business practices • Proven experience leading client engagements and engaging senior client stakeholders • Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills, with a high level of attention to detail • Ability to balance technical rigour with commercial judgement • Experience mentoring junior consultants and managing team delivery • Professional certifications or advanced training in sustainability, climate, or assurance frameworks are an advantage What we offer • Competitive salary with performance-linked bonus Strong learning and professional development support • Exposure to complex, international client engagements • Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid and work-from-home options • Medical, healthcare, and wellness benefits • Generous leave policies and supportive workplace practices • Clear progression to Senior Sustainability Consultant (Senior Manager-equivalent) for high performers • An opportunity to work in a collaborative, international, and multi-cultural consulting environment Interviews Shortlisted candidates will go through a structured interview process, which may include: • An initial discussion to assess experience and role fit • A technical and case-based interview • A final interview focused on leadership, client management, and commercial judgement How to apply Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV and a brief cover note outlining relevant experience and motivation for applying.
