About the position This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Social Media Manager. In this role, you will lead and evolve the organic social presence, with a strong emphasis on sports betting content and real-time coverage. Your hands-on leadership will shape the way the brand engages with its audience across social platforms. You will be responsible for setting a clear vision, managing a small team, and ensuring high-quality execution of social strategies. Responsibilities • Own the day-to-day strategy and execution across key social platforms, primarily X/Twitter and Instagram. • Shape a visually strong, engaging, and influential social presence that highlights products and insights. • Lead real-time coverage during live games and major sports moments. • Manage and develop a small team, including scheduling, prioritization, and coaching. • Set clear content standards and ensure consistent quality across copy, visuals, and formats. • Collaborate closely with Editorial, Design, Growth, Product, and Marketing teams. • Use performance data to iterate, optimize, and scale effective strategies. • Support sponsored and partner content, maintaining brand voice and credibility. Requirements • 3–7+ years of experience managing social media for sports media, sports betting, fantasy, or analytics-driven brands. • Strong understanding of sports betting concepts including spreads, totals, and public vs. sharp action. • Deep platform knowledge, especially X (Twitter) and Instagram, with sharp editorial judgment. • Experience managing or mentoring a team, and making fast, high-impact decisions in live environments. • Organized, independent, and confident in owning both strategy and execution. • Willingness to work a schedule influenced by the sports calendar, including nights and weekends when needed.
