True North Log & Timber Homes, part of ThirdGen Timber Group Ltd., specializes in custom log and timber frame homes. They are seeking a versatile Social Media Content Creator responsible for content creation across their brands, including photography, videography, and editing for marketing and client presentations. Responsibilities - Plan, coordinate, and execute photo and video shoots at construction sites, the factory, client homes, and other locations across Central Ontario and beyond - Capture professional-quality photography, videography, and drone footage of projects at all stages of construction - Produce virtual walkthroughs and immersive visual content for marketing and client presentations - Edit and post-produce all photo and video content to a high standard using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, etc.) - Write compelling copy, scripts, blog posts, social media captions, website content, and marketing materials for both brands - Develop creative concepts, storyboards, and shot lists for content campaigns - Set up and prepare shoot locations, including lighting, staging, and equipment - Coordinate shoot schedules with project managers, site supervisors, clients, and other stakeholders - Maintain and organize a library of digital assets across both brands - Stay current with industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging content formats - Support the marketing team with additional creative projects as needed Skills - Proven experience in content creation, including photography, videography, and editing - Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator) - Experience operating drones for aerial photography and videography (drone pilot certification an asset) - Experience creating virtual walkthroughs and 360° content - Strong creative writing skills with the ability to craft engaging scripts, copy, and long-form content - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple shoots and deadlines - Self-motivated and able to work independently in a hybrid remote environment - Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle for frequent local travel - Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally to remote job sites - Portfolio or reel demonstrating a range of content creation work (photography, video, writing) - Post-secondary education in media production, film, communications, marketing, or a related field is an asset Benefits - Mileage reimbursement for all work-related travel using Personal Vehicle - Travel expenses and per diem covered for international assignments - Group Medical, Dental, Vision, and Teladoc benefits available after 90 days of employment - RRSP matching program available after 90 days of employment - Paid vacation: 6% vacation pay / 3 weeks paid vacation plus 1 additional week of unpaid leave Company Overview - True North Log Homes is a construction company that provides high-quality log homes, custom homes, and cabins with good quality materials.
