Why arenaflex?
At arenaflex, we are the driving force behind the world’s most trusted cloud platform, empowering governments, enterprises, and nonprofits to re‑imagine how they serve citizens and customers. Our mission is to help public‑sector organizations modernize their communications, improve citizen experience, and achieve cost‑effective agility—all while maintaining the highest standards of security, compliance, and accessibility.
Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to join the Customer Acceleration Team. In this role you will partner with sales, product, and engineering leaders to design, prototype, and launch enterprise‑grade contact‑center solutions built on arenaflex cloud services. You’ll be the technical champion for public‑sector clients, guiding them from concept through production, and creating reusable assets that accelerate future engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design end‑to‑end, cloud‑native contact‑center architectures that integrate arenaflex Connect with workforce‑management, AI, CRM, and telemetry platforms.
- Proof‑of‑Concept Delivery: Build and present PoCs that demonstrate value, performance, and compliance for senior public‑sector stakeholders.
- Customer Enablement: Conduct workshops, white‑board sessions, and hands‑on labs to transfer knowledge and empower client teams to operate independently.
- Solution Reusability: Produce reference architectures, playbooks, and reusable Terraform/CloudFormation modules that reduce time‑to‑value for subsequent engagements.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with field sales, pre‑sales, professional services, and product engineering to capture feedback, influence roadmaps, and ensure solutions align with the latest arenaflex innovations.
- Security & Compliance Guidance: Advise clients on federal, state, and industry security frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA, CJIS) and embed best‑practice controls into every design.
- Thought Leadership: Publish whitepapers, blog posts, and internal knowledge‑base articles; present at industry conferences and internal forums.
- Travel & On‑Site Consulting: Allocate 10‑30% travel to customer sites for discovery workshops, design sessions, and implementation reviews.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on design, implementation, or consulting experience with cloud‑based applications and infrastructure.
- At least 4 years of deep‑domain expertise in one or more of the following: software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, or data analytics.
- Overall 10+ years of professional experience in IT development, solution delivery, or consulting for software or Internet‑focused enterprises.
- Demonstrated understanding of contact‑center operations, key performance metrics (e.g., ACW, AHT, CSAT), and workflow orchestration.
- Proven ability to deliver technical presentations to both small teams and large executive audiences.
- Hands‑on experience configuring arenaflex Connect services, including routing profiles, IVR flows, and integration with third‑party telephony stacks.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Background working with public‑sector agencies, municipalities, or large‑scale government contact centers.
- Hands‑on software development experience, especially building integrations between telephony, CRM, and AI services.
- Experience migrating legacy on‑premise contact‑center solutions to cloud platforms, with a focus on minimal disruption.
- Familiarity with DevOps tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines) and operational monitoring (CloudWatch, X‑Ray, Splunk).
- Deep knowledge of contact‑center technologies: VoIP, IVR, ACD, CTI, workforce management, and modern AI‑driven analytics.
- Prior contributions to open‑source or community projects related to cloud‑based communications.
Core Skills & Competencies
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate business objectives into scalable, secure technical solutions.
- Consultative Selling: Blend technical expertise with a sales mindset to influence buying decisions and expand account footprints.
- Collaboration & Influence: Work fluidly across global, matrixed teams and earn trust from both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Diagnose complex integration challenges quickly and propose elegant, cost‑effective remedies.
