Job Description Summary
The Senior Project Manager Vendor Management & Risk Adjustment Programs leads and facilitates complex, cross-functional initiatives that support CareMore’s Risk Adjustment strategy. This role is accountable for program planning, vendor coordination, execution, and performance management across Risk Adjustment activities, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, operational goals, and financial outcomes.
This position manages multiple programs and projects, serving as the primary facilitator between internal stakeholders and external vendor partners. The Senior Project Manager applies advanced project and program management methodologies to drive consistent execution, transparency, and measurable results across the Risk Adjustment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Risk Adjustment Program Facilitation
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and governance of Risk Adjustment vendor programs and initiatives
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among Risk Adjustment, Operations, Clinical, Finance, IT, Compliance, and Analytics teams
- Translate Risk Adjustment strategies into executable program plans with clear milestones, deliverables, and success metrics
- Establish and manage program timelines, dependencies, and interrelated workstreams
- Define and track critical success factors, performance indicators, and program outcomes
Vendor Management & Oversight
- Serve as the primary point of coordination for Risk Adjustment vendor partners, including coding, analytics, chart retrieval, and technology vendors
- Define, recommend, and support contractual agreements and statements of work (SOWs) in partnership with Procurement and Legal
- Develop and manage service-level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and reporting expectations for vendors
- Coordinate vendor onboarding, implementation, training, and ongoing operational cadence
- Monitor vendor performance, identify risks and gaps, and drive issue resolution to ensure program objectives are met
Project & Program Management
- Apply advanced project management methodologies, tools, and best practices across Risk Adjustment initiatives
- Develop and maintain program plans, risk registers, resource plans, quality plans, and communication strategies
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and operational constraints
- Define quality gates across program phases to ensure regulatory compliance and operational readiness
- Establish and manage warranty periods following program implementations to ensure stability and sustainability
Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Support governance structures, approval matrices, and decision-making forums for Risk Adjustment programs
- Ensure alignment with CMS regulations, audit readiness expectations, and internal compliance standards
- Partner with Compliance and Legal teams to support vendor and program adherence to regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve vendor performance, program efficiency, and scalability
