As an MLOps Engineer at Promise, you'll be at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning into our mission of transforming the way individuals facing financial difficulty receive and interact with essential public services. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, test, and manage end-to-end generative AI and large language model (LLM) applications and services for both internal and external products. This will include creating and managing complex AI systems, integrating LLMs, real-time systems, APIs, and agentic workflows in a robust, scalable, and powerful manner. Your expertise in AI technologies will drive innovation, efficiency, and automation across our platform.

A minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience.

Expertise with LLMOps, general MLOps, or other closely related AI specializations, especially experience with testing and maintaining production LLM applications and with self-hosting ML models.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (Terraform, Pulumi).
Experience with scalable, containerized solutions (Kubernetes, GKE, ECS, Docker).
Strong proficiency in systems architecture.
