Senior Customer Service Sales/Service Associate

SUMMARY: Responsible for processing all quotes, orders and requests from customers or prospective customers. This role handles responding to general product, service or other general inquiries. The person in this role will be responsible for leveraging his or her professional experience and, specifically, his or her experience at Clarion in a strategic manner in order to assist in customer retention and to service customer needs/challenges. This role draws upon experience with previous customers to demonstrate products/services to other existing or prospective customers, and works closely with other departments to ensure satisfactory and timely fulfillment of customer needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: Answers phones in a call center atmosphere.  Ensures all activities with customers are handled promptly, professionally, and courteously.  Applies their senior level of experience to assist customers in solving unique challenges, thereby expanding business with these accounts.  Provides quotations for standard and custom Clarion items from both written and telephone requests.  Follows up on all quotes within 72 hours of completion; tracks quotes until either converted to an order or closed.  Promptly and accurately enters purchase orders and communicates all related order information to customers via phone or electronic correspondence.  Works with the rest of the CSSA staff in order to cross train and share experience, and provides coaching and mentorship (as aligned with management) to less experienced CSSA team members.  Maintains SAP to track all activity.  Provides coverage to maintain daily workflow functions during Workflow Coordinator absences/vacations.  Develops consultative relationships with customers. Manages existing customer relationships for certain complex customers in order to provide exceptional service.  Actively seeks new business opportunities through cross-selling, up-selling, and referring new prospects to the Inside Sales Professional(s).  Provides coverage for assigned partner during absences/vacations.  Assists customers via online Live Chat program.  Receives and responds to customer’s complaints/RMA’s.  Provides positive customer experience to promote customer retention and increased revenue.  Actively contributes to all departmental goals as determined annually.  Educates customer about Clarion products and services through effective use of marketing materials.  Focused on delivering an exceptional experience to each and every customer.
