Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate regularly with business units and technology teams to cultivate strong working relationships.
• Oversee the monitoring of scheduled jobs, conduct root cause analyses, communicate solutions, and ensure effective resolution.
• Develop and maintain Python and SQL scripts for the management and upkeep of the metadata repository.
• Manage change control requests using Jira for effective tracking, and oversee the workflow for all units of work in Jira.
• Uphold KPMG's values of integrity, professionalism, and respect within the workplace.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of three years of experience in Data Governance/Metadata programs and managing Data Catalog processes.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in SQL is essential; solid data analysis skills and familiarity with relational databases are required, with SQL Server and Databricks experience preferred.
• Understanding of the Collibra platform, handling metadata ingestion, data lineage ingestion, Data Dictionaries, Business Glossary, and familiarity with Collibra REST APIs is preferred; proficiency in Python scripting and ETL processes is desirable.
• Ability to mentor and positively influence colleagues, adapt to change and ambiguity, and execute on conceptual ideas, combined with exceptional critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills, with practical experience in a business-facing role; exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities that prioritize customer service and teamwork.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship for employment-based visa status.
