Seeking a sales representative to find and close software development and cloud architecture projects on Upwork and similar platforms.
This is a sales role, NOT a recruiting role. You will be finding companies and clients who need software built or AWS infrastructure work done, then connecting them with me.
Services You'll Be Selling:
AWS migrations and architecture consulting
Production system diagnostics and recovery
Full-stack development (Go, TypeScript, .NET)
API development (REST, SOAP)
Database optimization and scaling
DevOps/infrastructure work
My Background (what you're selling):
15+ years production software experience
AWS Solutions Architect (10+ company migrations)
Enterprise systems: telephony, accounting, e-commerce
Containerization, scaling, database architecture
Compensation Structure:
My base rate: $125/hour
Your commission: 10% of project value
Client-facing rate: $137.50/hour
Your Responsibilities:
Find businesses that need software/cloud work
Initial client outreach and qualification
Proposal drafting (I'll review/approve)
Close deals on Upwork, Toptal, direct outreach, etc.
Requirements:
Experience selling technical services
Basic understanding of cloud/software terminology
Strong written communication
Upwork or freelance platform experience preferred
Commission paid upon client payment. Long-term arrangement for the right fit.
