Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment. Educates patients on procedures, answers related questions, and ensures patient safety throughout care. Assists with patient preparation for surgery, including starting IVs, documenting pertinent information, and reporting critical values. Ensures accurate and complete handoff to and from surgery, including verifying consent and compliance with hospital policy. Collects and documents patient health data systematically and continuously. Analyzes assessment data to determine and validate diagnoses with the patient, family, and healthcare providers. Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses, ensuring they are realistic, attainable, and culturally appropriate. Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers, ensuring continuity and documentation. Implements interventions from the plan of care safely, timely, and appropriately, documenting actions taken. Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes systematically, revising diagnoses, outcomes, and plans of care as needed. Administers medications correctly per age group and population served, adhering to policy. Other duties as assigned. Education: • Associate's of Nursing [Required] • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred] Work Experience: • 1+ years acute nursing [Preferred] • 1+ years surgical services experience [Preferred] Licenses and Certifications: • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required] • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required] • Certified Post-Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) [Preferred] • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred] • Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) [Preferred] Physical Requirements: (Please click the link below to view work requirements) Physical Requirements - https://tinyurl.com/49cf4xnf Pay Range: $31.44 - $54.92 This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
