Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Association of Corporate Citizenship Professionals (ACCP) is an inclusive community of CSR & ESG professionals. They are seeking a Vice President, Marketing, Communications & Thought Leadership to shape and elevate ACCP’s brand and marketing strategy while overseeing all marketing and communications functions.
Responsibilities
• Assessing and refining ACCP’s brand positioning, messaging, and value proposition in partnership with the CEO and senior leadership team
• Developing and executing an integrated marketing and communications strategy aligned to ACCP’s strategic priorities, programs, and audiences
• Establishing a cohesive thought leadership framework in collaboration with Content & Learning, aligning research, benchmarking, and field‑facing content
• Defining ACCP’s public‑facing voice and media approach, including being a spokesperson and messaging for high‑visibility or sensitive communications
• Leading and coaching a high-performing Marketing and Communications team
Skills
• 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, or brand leadership
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
• Team leadership experience required
• Current knowledge of trends and best practices in marketing and communications
• Strong strategic, editorial, and messaging judgment
• Experience cultivating relationships with national media outlets and pitching stories, op‑eds, and expert commentary to top‑tier publications and syndicated platforms
• Demonstrated success elevating organizational visibility and thought leadership in a complex, values‑driven environment
• Strong team player and relationship builder who fosters cross‑departmental and organizational partnerships, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and productive conflict resolution
• Highly effective communicator able to articulate ACCP's value proposition to diverse stakeholders and present clearly and confidently in writing and orally to large and small groups
• Solid executive presence and strong facilitation skills required
• Experience managing cross‑functional initiatives
• Commitment to equity and to ACCP's mission and values
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email marketing, and social media platforms, and leveraging AI technologies
• Background or expertise in corporate social impact or ESG
• Association or nonprofit experience
• Advanced degree a plus and/or a combination of experience and related education
• Direct supervision of three or more paid staff preferred
• Digital marketing expertise preferred
• Experience with surveys and/or data analysis and evaluation a plus
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Asana experience a plus
