Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pressify is a growing company seeking a senior hire to build and scale their PR department. The role combines organic PR with strategic media relations and consultative sales to drive revenue and growth.
Responsibilities
• Leading strategy calls with inbound leads (50+ per month)
• Understanding each client’s business, industry, and positioning before recommending PR
• Selling and positioning our guaranteed publication catalog in a way that aligns with long-term brand goals
• Combining organic PR and media relations with guaranteed placements when appropriate
• Building PR strategies across multiple industries including tech, finance, health, and startups
• Working closely with the founder to structure and grow the PR department
• Helping define processes, positioning, and best practices for the team
Skills
• Proven experience in public relations and media relations
• Strong strategic and commercial mindset
• Comfortable leading calls with founders, CMOs, and senior executives
• Ability to sell PR as a strategic investment, not a list of placements
• Experience working across multiple industries
• Interest in building and growing a department, not just executing tasks
