[Remote] People Operations Manager (Contract-to-Hire)

They are seeking a People Operations Manager to oversee the operational workflows across the employee experience, ensuring smooth hiring, onboarding, and employee support processes. Responsibilities - Coordinate interview scheduling across candidates and internal teams - Manage candidate communications with speed and professionalism - Maintain ATS accuracy and ensure clean, organized data - Support the recruiting process from kickoff through offer stage - Own onboarding logistics from offer acceptance through first week - Coordinate new hire setup across systems, teams, and stakeholders - Ensure every new employee has a seamless, high-quality first experience - Support ongoing employee lifecycle touchpoints (reviews, transitions, etc.) - Manage the HR inbox with fast, thoughtful responses - Triage and route requests appropriately (and know when to escalate) - Act as a reliable, go-to resource for employee questions - Be the main liaison for the selected PEO - Be the first to think through potential company risk and/or compliance issues - Maintain employee records, systems, and documentation - Own calendar coordination for People initiatives (trainings, reviews, etc.) - Support vendor coordination and administrative workflows - Keep everything organized, documented, and easy to navigate - Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and ways to streamline workflows - Help build systems that scale as the company grows - Leverage tools, automation, and AI to work smarter and faster Skills - 1-3 years relevant experience in HR, People Operations or comparable role - Has served as a trusted contact and resource for internal employees and vendors - Experience in a fast-paced environment (agency, startup, or high-growth company preferred) - Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and comfort learning new tools quickly - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and follow through without constant oversight - Experience in a fast-paced agency or startup environment - Love optimizing workflows and building systems - Are lowkey obsessed with inbox zero and clean spreadsheets - Experience working with HR systems or ATS platforms Benefits - Unlimited PTO, plus your birthday off - 401(k) with company match up to 4% - Medical insurance, with STN covering 70% of the base plan - Dental and vision coverage available - 12 weeks of paid parental leave after your first year - Paid sick leave and 9 paid company holidays - Wellness perks, including a complimentary gym membership (24 Hour Fitness or ClassPass) - Paid 1-hour mental health break each week - Apple laptop and iPhone provided for work - Employee Assistance Program for confidential personal and professional support Company Overview - #1 Social First Marketing Agency in Sports & Entertainment.
