Enterra Medical, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and outgoing individual to join their team as a part-time Patient Engagement Specialist. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients interested in their therapy, providing empathetic support and guidance throughout their journey.
Responsibilities
- Contact patients who have expressed interest in Enterra Therapy and serve as an initial point of connection
- Provide empathetic, professional support by actively listening, addressing concerns, and handling sensitive or confidential situations with discretion
- Guide patients by explaining available support services and connecting them with the appropriate Patient Liaisons or internal experts
- Ensure patients feel informed and supported throughout their journey by offering clear information and timely follow‑up
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, delivering friendly, solution‑focused assistance
- Gather information, schedule appointments, complete required outreach, and resolve questions efficiently
- Document all interactions accurately in the CRM or call‑tracking system
- Meet established call‑quality, compliance, and performance standards, including service‑level expectations
- Escalate or transfer calls appropriately when additional expertise or support is needed
- Work closely with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance the overall patient experience
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on products, services, and communication best practices
- Other duties as needed
Skills
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients
- Empathetic and compassionate demeanor, with the ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant computer applications
- Previous experience in customer service, inside sales or a related field preferred
