Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Community Health RN, you will deliver comprehensive acute care services in a home setting, adhering to Amedisys clinical standards and state regulations. Your daily activities will include, but are not limited to:
- Initial Patient Onboarding: Conduct thorough nursing assessments, medication reconciliation, safety checks, and implement standardized Hospital‑at‑Home protocols.
- Medication Management: Administer prescribed therapies—including intravenous medications—monitor therapeutic responses, and document all administration details accurately.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Perform skilled procedures such as venipuncture, phlebotomy, Foley catheter insertion, wound care, and respiratory support.
- Patient & Family Education: Teach patients and caregivers how to manage illnesses, understand medication regimens, and follow care plans to promote self‑efficacy.
- Clinical Surveillance: Continuously assess patient status, recognize early signs of deterioration, and initiate appropriate interventions or escalation.

Essential Qualifications
- Education: Associate of Science (A.S.) in Nursing from an accredited program.
