Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, proactive, and empathetic Remote Athlete Support Specialist to join our Student Success Center for the 2023‑24 academic year. Working part‑time (up to 24 hours per week) and reporting directly to the Director of the Student Success Center, you will serve as an essential bridge between the athletics department and academic support services. Core Responsibilities
Academic Coaching & Counseling
- Provide one‑on‑one academic counseling to student‑athletes, helping them map out degree plans, select courses, and monitor progress toward graduation.
- Deliver targeted study‑skills workshops addressing time management, note‑taking, test‑taking strategies, and stress reduction.
- Collaborate with faculty and tutoring centers to arrange supplemental instruction and peer tutoring for identified needs.
Team‑Based Support & Coordination
