The Art Director will execute high-quality creative work across various mediums while collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure branding and creative needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality creative work across multiple tactic types that are aligned to the creative brief, established branding and guidance
- Manage workload and timelines, multiple projects and daily responsibilities
- Partner with Copywriters/Sr. Copywriters to ensure creative needs of brands are met
- Lead creative presentations to internal team members
- Participate in discussions with freelancers, internal cross-functional team members and partners
- Begin to integrate strategic thinking into creative work
- Triage layout designs and enhance creative where appropriate
- Bring unique and elevated designs, but also guide the work creatively and strategically along the way
Skills
- Strong design skills
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Advertising, Art, Graphic Design or related field
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch is a must; Workfront is a must
- Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and related programs
- 1+ years of experience in an advertising or direct marketing agency, ideally pharmaceutical experience as well
- Strong portfolio showcasing strong design work across multiple mediums
- Ability to manage multiple projects and self-prioritize
- Comfort in helping to make executional changes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Solid presentation skills
- Understanding of creative development process, especially for digital
- Curiosity and a hunger to continuously develop and learn
