• Resilience Behavioral Health is a trauma informed treatment center located in Willowbrook IL, committed to providing trauma-informed therapy to individuals facing addiction and co-occurring disorders. Our approach emphasizes helping clients build fulfilling connections with themselves and others, fostering a sense of aliveness and joy in every individual, regardless of age or background.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A GROUP FACILITATOR FOR A MINIMUM OF TWO EVENINGS A WEEK 6-9PM TO RUN GROUPS AND THIS TIME INCLUDES DOCUMENTATION. POSITION IS REMOTE (VIRTUAL) WE PREFER A LICENSED APPLICANT. (LICSW, LMHC, LCSW). Masters Level is sufficient.
PAY $200 PER EVENING SHIFT(1099 Contractor)
• Group Facilitator at Resilience Behavioral Health will play an essential role in supporting clients through their recovery journey in a therapeutic group setting.
• As a Group Facilitator, you’ll have the opportunity to guide and inspire clients on their journey to recovery, helping them build resilience, find community, and achieve their personal goals.
• Facilitating structured therapeutic group sessions focused on trauma recovery, addiction, emotional regulation, and coping skills
• Implementing trauma-focused and evidence-based interventions within the group setting
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable sharing and participating
• Collaborating with the treatment team to ensure group sessions align with individualized treatment goals and support overall client progress
• Observing and documenting client participation and progress, providing insights to the clinical team to inform ongoing treatment planning
• Supporting clients in building healthy coping mechanisms, fostering resilience, and reinforcing skills gained in individual therapy
• Experience in facilitating therapeutic groups and implementing trauma-focused interventions
• Understanding of addiction, co-occurring disorders, and trauma-informed care approaches
• Knowledge of mental health and counseling techniques, with an emphasis on group therapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage clients and build trust
• Ability to create a welcoming and safe environment, fostering a sense of community and support within the group
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (PREFER MASTER'S )
• Relevant certifications in group therapy, trauma-focused therapy, or addiction counseling are a plus
