We are hiring a proactive Telecaller who can not only engage student leads but also articulate the technical value and outcomes of our courses in a clear and impactful way. The role requires converting enquiries into admissions by building trust through strong course understanding.
Position: Academic Counselor (Part-Time)
Department: Admissions & Outreach for Technical Courses
Work Mode: Remote (Flexible)
Working Hours: 4–5 Hours per Day
Core Responsibilities
- Connect with prospective students via calls and digital platforms
- Present programs with a structured explanation of technical deliverables
- Educate students on how the course translates into real-world skills
- Counsel students based on their academic background and career goals
- Track and manage leads through follow-ups and status updates
- Work closely with the academic/admissions team for conversions
Course Deliverables (What You Must Explain to Students)
The Academic Counselor should confidently communicate:
1. Curriculum Breakdown
- Module-wise learning (Foundation → Advanced → Specialization)
- Duration and learning roadmap
2. Technical Skill Development
- Core tools & technologies covered (e.g., programming, analytics tools, domain-specific software)
- Practical exposure vs theory
3. Hands-on Learning
- Live projects, case studies, simulations
- Real-time assignments aligned with industry use-cases
4. Industry Integration
- Certifications offered (internal / external)
- Guest lectures, workshops, and expert sessions
5. Career Outcomes
- Job roles aligned with the course
- Placement training (resume, interview prep, aptitude)
- Internship / project experience
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum: Any Degree / Diploma (Technical background preferred)
- Strong communication skills in Tamil & English
- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Basic understanding of courses like IT, AI, Data Science, Management etc.,
- Good convincing, counseling and negotiation skills
Experience
- 0–2 years in Tele calling / Academic Counseling / EdTech Sales
- Freshers with strong communication and learning ability can apply
