Nurse Educator, Oncology - Midwest/Great Lakes
Location: Remote
A mid-size pharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative treatments for oncologic diseases with high unmet need is seeking experienced Nurse Educators for a growth role on its Medical Affairs team. This position will be responsible for providing clinical education and training to healthcare providers, helping to advance patient safety and access to a first-in-class therapy for gynecologic cancer patients.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver disease-state education and training on product administration and adverse event monitoring to advanced practice providers within community and academic hospital settings.
• Identify learning gaps and develop tailored educational programs.
• Generate clinical insights to inform medical affairs strategy, evidence generation, and brand planning.
• Promote disease state awareness and advocacy in one-on-one engagement with HCPs as well as at national medical and scientific conferences.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across R&D, marketing, sales, evidence generation, and clinical operations.
Required Qualifications:
• DNP, MSN, PA, or related advanced clinical degree
• 3+ years of patient care experience in Oncology
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience in Medical Affairs, Nurse Education, or a related role
• Proven ability to effectively communicate clinical evidence and scientific data to a wide range of audiences
• Reside within reasonable proximity of a major city and airport in the Midwest/Great Lakes region (e.g., Chicago, Detroit,
• Cleveland)
• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays
Compensation and Benefits:
• Base Salary of $160,000 - $175,000
