Job Overview
The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) supports financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities to ensure alignment with corporate policies, financial controls, and program objectives. Working closely with the Senior Manager, FP&A and operational teams, this role contributes to the development of financial plans, supports budgeting and forecasting processes, and assists with monitoring financial performance across assigned programs or business units.
This position collaborates with operational and administrative teams to gather financial data, support financial analysis, and maintain accurate reporting that informs decision-making. The Manager, FP&A helps implement financial processes and tools that support disciplined financial management, improve visibility into margins and costs, and support pricing and financial performance at the program and project levels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Operations and Compliance
- Support the FP&A department in maintaining financial policies, procedures, and internal controls that align with corporate standards and regulatory requirements
- Assist in monitoring financial processes and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations
- Maintain working knowledge of financial management requirements, accounting standards, and reporting guidelines relevant to company operations
Financial Systems and Process Support
- Support the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software tools used for financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis
- Assist in testing, documentation, and rollout of financial system enhancements and process improvements
- Help ensure accurate financial data management and reporting across finance systems
Financial Planning and Analysis Support
- Assist with financial planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking
- Support the preparation of financial reports, variance analyses, and financial summaries for management review
- Gather and analyze financial data to support decision-making related to program performance and operational planning
Program and Operational Support
- Collaborate with program teams to support development and maintenance of financial documentation and program-level financial processes
- Assist operational teams in understanding financial policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
- Support program staff in maintaining compliance with financial systems and documentation requirements
Training and Knowledge Support
- Assist in the preparation of financial training materials and documentation for program teams and internal stakeholders
- Provide guidance to staff on financial procedures, tools, and reporting processes when needed
- Stay informed of industry trends, economic factors, and regulatory developments that may impact financial planning and operations

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field and
- 7+ years of finance and/or accounting related work experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, flows, and processes
- Outstanding organizational and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple simultaneous projects
- Desire and ability to interact and collaborate effectively with a variety of personalities across diverse internal groups, teams, divisions, and cultures
- Desire to grow with a complex, fast-paced, mission-driven organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Global/International experience
- Experience with Salesforce
- Experience with Essbase or Workday
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Working Remotely
At this time, SCS Global Services is recruiting all open roles to be remote; allowing our employees the ability to work flexibly and allowing SCS as a company to diversify the experience and perspectives of our growing workforce. This role will be based out of your home office.
Estimated Annual Salary
$120,000 - $140,000
