Duties & Responsibilities As a Loan Closing Specialist, you will be producing closing documents, reviewing closing documents, and communicating with third parties such as title and escrow. Further responsibilities include: - Experience in Private Lending, and Private/RTL/DSCR Lending - Providing excellent customer service and clear communication with internal and external parties - Review loan files for completeness and accuracy to eliminate risks during funding process - Understanding loan closing and escrow documents - Balancing settlement statements/HUDs - Communicating with title and escrow to collect documents necessary to fund the loan - Working with internal teams: Underwriters, Loan Processors, Loan Officers, Loan Analysts, Appraisal and Post Closing - Creating structured timelines and coordinating internally to ensure that approved files are clearly documented according to guidelines - Being able to multitask and work in an extremely fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and organization - Taking initiative to follow up with internal and external parties to get a file across the finish line in a timely manner - Preparing funding requests for internal wire team and escrow - Adhering to established SLA’s - Maintaining an average pipeline of 15+ loans and funds 35-40+ loans per month Qualifications 1-2 years preferred experience as a loan closer or processor Strong written and oral communications skills Detail oriented and has a team player attitude Familiarity with title and escrow documents, knowledge of mortgage terms Experience with Encompass (preferred, not required) Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and Adobe Education Bachelor’s Degree Compensation $28.84 - $33.65 per hour, depending on experience Benefits - Paid time off/401k plan/Company Events - Health insurance/Dental Insurance/Vision
