IT Project Manager (Healthcare Industry)- Contract-to-Hire (Mostly Remote, Locals Only) Location: Philadelphia, PA (mostly remote; occasional onsite required) Engagement: Contract-to-hire Industry: Healthcare / Research Experience Target: 7-10 years The Senior Project Manager leads a portfolio of complex, crossfunctional projects that support organizational strategy, process improvement, and change management. This role partners closely with leadership, drives structured project planning and execution, and serves as a consulting resource for initiatives that require strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholdermanagement capabilities. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - 5+ years in project management, quality, or process improvement - 3+ years managing crossfunctional teams - Advanced knowledge of PMBOK (charters, work plans, budgets, WBS, risk plans) - Advanced knowledge of change management principles and organizational dynamics - Intermediate knowledge of BABOK - Intermediate knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma or quality improvement methodologies - Intermediate understanding of healthcare or research operations - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) - Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and timemanagement skills - Ability to work independently and influence without authority Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree - 7+ years project management, quality, or process improvement experience - 7+ years business analysis experience - 3+ years experience in a healthcare or research environment - PMP or related project management certification Key Responsibilities • Lead complex projects from intake through closure, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy. • Define scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resources, and success criteria. • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, gather input, and coordinate cross functional collaboration. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation. • Monitor project health, track risks/issues, and proactively escalate with recommended solutions. • Provide clear, consistent communication to sponsors and leadership on progress and outcomes. • Conduct post project evaluations, lessons learned, and ensure proper documentation archiving.
