Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an Interim Commercial Banking Transactions Counsel.
Overview: We are seeking an experienced transactional attorney with experience in commercial banking.
Company: Financial services.
Experience: 5+ years of experience with commercial credit products, commercial credit transactions and laws/regulations impacting products and operations.
Location: Tampa, FL or Remote.
Responsibilities Include:
• Conduct day-to-day legal activities supporting the US Retail Business Banking product owners and work directly with bankers, and with members of independent compliance, controls and operations functions.
• Handle commercial credit transactions, including documentation and secured transactions, and a solid understanding of commercial deposit and cash management products, including associated agreements.
• Previous experience with commercial credit products, including documentation and secured transactions and deposit & cash management products and associated agreements
• Familiarity with laws and regulations impacting products and operations, including AML, ECOA, UDAAP, and FCRA.
Qualifications Include:
• JD and barred in at least 1 US jurisdiction (New York, Florida or California preferred).
• 5+ years of transactional commercial banking experience.
• Understanding on laws and regulations impacting products and operations, including but not limited to AML, ECOA, UDAAP & FCRA.
