What We Offer: Insurance Follow‑Up Representative II - Schedule: Monday - Friday - Hours: 8-5PM - Remote   Key Responsibilities  - Work assigned insurance follow‑up queues to resolve outstanding and denied claims. - Investigate and analyze claim denials to determine root cause and appropriate resolution. - Utilize payer websites and online portals to research claim status and outstanding balances. - Contact insurance payers directly to obtain claim updates, resolve discrepancies, and secure payment. - Work within Availity and other payer systems to submit inquiries, corrections, and follow‑up requests. - Review claim history, documentation, and payment activity to determine next steps for resolution. - Update claim status accurately and document all actions taken to support timely follow‑up and compliance. Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Experience: Minimum one year of medical insurance experience, required.  Additional Skills (required): Good verbal and written communication skills. Experience operating computers/laptop. Clear and pleasant speaking voice on the telephone, hearing acuity that allows for understanding over the telephone, prolonged sitting, visual abilities and manual dexterity that allows the use of PCs for extended periods of time. Ability to operate 10 key keyboard. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed. Ability to work from home as needed. Additional Skills (preferred): Basic accounting and medical terminology.
