Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams: Teach, train, and mentor associates to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth. Tour stores to provide feedback, communicate business initiatives, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Model and demonstrate the One Best Way (OBW) service model, manage customer service initiatives, and ensure customer needs are met. Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and improve customer satisfaction.
- Drive Financial Performance: Review and evaluate P&L statements, manage budgeting and forecasting, and control expenses to achieve sales and profit goals. Monitor merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes to ensure sales and profit objectives are met.
- Supervise and Develop Hourly Associates: Hire, train, and mentor associates, assign duties, and provide recognition and feedback. Ensure diversity and inclusion awareness and recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs.
- Coordinate and Complete Job-Related Activities: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, support plans and initiatives, and identify and communicate goals and objectives. Build accountability and measure progress in achieving results.
- Ensure Compliance with Company Policies: Implement related action plans, utilize and support the Open Door Policy, and provide direction and guidance on applying company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years' of college; OR
- 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR
- 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
