Role Description
The Processing Specialist (Special) supports core HR processes with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and compassionate service. Responsibilities include:
• Condolence management
• QMSCO compliance
• Benefit appeals
• Power of Attorney (POA) documentation
• L564 Medicare requests
The Gig:
• Process condolence requests, including sending packages and updating employee records.
• Validate and process POA documentation and L564 Medicare employment verification forms.
• Assist with benefit appeals by collecting documentation and ensuring timely submission.
• Maintain compliance records and support audits in alignment with QMSCO standards.
• Provide empathetic and responsive support for life-event inquiries.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–2 years of experience in HR operations or administrative support.
• Basic understanding of benefits processes and compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements
• The starting pay for this position is $18.50 per hour (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data).
