As an Education Resource Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the room scheduling software, training new users, and ensuring seamless academic facility scheduling processes.
Job Summary:
The Education Resource Specialist serves as the campus functional administrator for room scheduling software (Series25), maintaining classroom inventories and scheduling databases. This role requires advanced proficiency with computers, standard office software, and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to work closely with stakeholders to ensure the efficient scheduling of academic and special events.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and testing of systems required for the room scheduling process.
- Update and maintain documentation on procedures and policies for the area.
- Assist with the implementation of room scheduling software and the scheduling of events.
- Train new users of room scheduling software.
- Supervise, train, and make daily assignments to support personnel.
- Act as a backup for the Room Scheduling Coordinator.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, plus two years of computer maintenance, networking, or software troubleshooting experience.
- Or Associate's degree in computer science or related field, plus four years of computer maintenance, networking, or software troubleshooting experience.
- Or High School diploma/GED, plus six years of computer maintenance, networking, or software troubleshooting experience.
