About the Opportunity

The Cloud Sales Resident, Cloud Academy program is a full-time, 9-month opportunity that will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in Google Cloud sales. As a Cloud Sales Resident, you will work closely with experienced Google vendors and Outreach teams to develop your business skills, gain hands-on experience, and become certified in Google Cloud products and services. You will be part of a talented and driven team, working together to drive business growth, identify new opportunities, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Pursue key business objectives while prioritizing and delivering extraordinary customer experiences to grow Google Cloud clients' long-term business.
• Communicate with clients in English and Bahasa, build personal brand, and learn to manage relationships with C-levels.
• Generate demand with prospective and existing clients through video conferencing, calls, email, and events to identify, qualify, and grow opportunities.
• Follow up on business/marketing efforts and self-generated campaigns using value-based approaches.
• Collaborate with tenured Google merchants to drive customer participation at marketing events, training, and other key activities to build awareness and education on Google's solutions.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in client assistance, sales, or B2B sales, sales advancement, or client relationship management.
• A strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to new and emerging technologies, approaches, and solutions in the Cloud/IT innovation space.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following skills and experience will be highly regarded:

• Experience in strategically evaluating and driving client progress through business processes, including effective addressing and complaint management.
• Experience with sales in the technology industry.
• Experience obtaining leads and creating sales pipeline.
• The ability to rapidly establish trusted relationships with prospects and assess their needs.
