This role is strategically positioned to acquire, cultivate, and manage high-value seller relationships that directly enhance our product selection, optimize pricing strategies, and elevate the overall customer experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for identifying gaps in our product offerings and developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies to attract key marketplace players, expanding our product portfolio and strengthening our customer base. You will be a key driver in ensuring we have the right products, at the right prices, available to our customers worldwide.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deep Market Expertise: Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of marketplace dynamics, seasonal trends, and global market landscapes. Continuously monitor competitor activities and emerging trends to identify opportunities and threats.
- Strategic Seller Acquisition: Proactively identify, prospect, and onboard high-potential sellers to our platform through direct outreach, participation in industry events, and compelling presentations.
- Seller Enablement & Advocacy: Guide sellers on best practices for online selling, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize their product listings for delivery, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with and influence internal and external stakeholders to address seller challenges, resolve issues, and foster a collaborative ecosystem.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1-3 years of demonstrable success in a sales-focused role within a fast-paced environment, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods industries.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets through the application of consultative and solution-oriented sales methodologies.
- Strong aptitude for promoting new products and offerings into emerging markets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and workplace applications. Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and demonstrate a strong drive for success and achievement.
