Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney with a minimum of 3+ years of family law practice. This is a remote position, but candidates must be able to appear regularly in California courts.
Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 annually, commensurate with experienceBenefits: Health insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, two weeks of vacation, and bonuses for client-originated businessBillable Requirement: 1,350 hours annually (intentionally below industry standards to promote work–life balance)
Key Responsibilities
• Represent clients in all aspects of family law matters, from case initiation through resolution
• Independently manage a caseload while also collaborating effectively within a team
• Conduct discovery, prepare motions, attend hearings, and provide strategic legal advice
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Provide and accept constructive feedback in a professional, solutions‑oriented manner
• Efficiently multitask and balance competing case priorities
Requirements
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active California State Bar license in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience practicing family law
• Demonstrated success handling complex or high‑net‑worth divorce matters
• Strong legal writing and exceptional oral advocacy skills
• Clio experience.
• Proficiency with standard legal and office technology (e.g., video conferencing, Adobe, MS Word, case management software)
