This part-time remote opportunity is a part of our esteemed Financial Planning Systems team, where you'll leverage your unique blend of financial and IT expertise to drive business success. As a Senior Financial Planning Systems Analyst, you'll play a critical role in supporting and developing financial systems applications, serving as an internal advisor to stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold the Hyperion planning application, ensuring accuracy and reliability for forecast and actual financials.
- Approve data from Hyperion Financial Management and regulatory sources, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve issues with data, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions.
- Uphold system maintenance, including client consent management.
- Support clients with system issues, existing reports, forms, and models.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed scenarios and analytical results examinations on complex financial issues and competitive industry analyses.
- Facilitate and complete monthly headcount process using Hyperion.
- Refresh Hyperion Planning with order changes, coordinating progressive system changes with regulators and GL organization.
- Collaborate with work groups to determine reporting business needs, proposing and presenting effective solutions.
- Create Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, as well as estimating and planning models for Financial divisions.
All You'll Need for Success
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Systems, or related field.
- 2 years of work experience in a financial role, including experience with financial statements, financial modeling, and analysis.
- Strong IT foundation, including experience with Oracle and complex and social database structures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Hyperion, including development and administration experience (including Intelligent Disclosure, Essbase, Planning).
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in the use of analytical methods related to financial issues.
- Ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.
- Meticulous with focus on accuracy and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse situations.
