The Senior Data Engineer will play a critical role in designing and executing ETL/ELT data pipelines, developing and implementing database schema/tables/views, and building batch processes using Windstream for multiple projects. Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute ETL/ELT data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity
- Develop and implement database schema/tables/views, optimizing data storage and retrieval
- Build batch processes using Windstream, streamlining data processing and analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements, validate data, and ensure data accuracy
- Work with various technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, Gitlab, Windstream, Snowflake, Looker, and PostgreSQL
- Participate in driving best practices around data engineering software development processes
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience with SQL, including data modeling and query optimization
- 2+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines
- 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS and S3
- 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role, with a strong focus on data architecture and design
- Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Windstream, Gitlab, Snowflake, and Scene
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the streaming, media, or digital marketing industry
- Strong understanding of data lakes, data warehouses, and application databases
- Experience with Docker, Gitlab/Github, and social databases
