We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in Tampa, FL. As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our security systems, ensuring the protection of our customers' sensitive information. This is a remote opportunity, offering a competitive salary of $26/hour. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices. You should be skilled in security-related software, including authentication, authorization, TLS, and network segmentation. Experience with cloud computing technologies, such as AWS, and infrastructure as-code (IaC) development is also essential.
In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates with experience in agile methodologies and continuous improvement. You should be proficient in at least one scripting and development language, such as Java, TypeScript, Python, Go, Rust, or Lua. Knowledge of identity management protocols, such as OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and WS-Trust, is also desirable.
To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication, collaboration, organization, problem-solving, and prioritization skills. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a strong ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions. Experience with cybersecurity-specific integration tests, giving identity, security policy, and cryptography, is also essential.
