This position is a hybrid role that combines the responsibilities of a Lab Dispatcher and a Customer Service Representative. As a Lab Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching laboratory orders to technicians, ensuring that orders are delivered on time and to the right location. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise. This is a remote position, and you will be working from home during the overnight shift, from 10pm to 6:30am Central Time.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong and diverse skillset, with excellent communication and customer service skills. You will need to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, and have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in listening and confirming the message received, and in relaying clearly all necessary information to ensure effective response.
To work from home, you will need to have a private workspace that is free from external sounds and distractions, and that meets our safety checklist requirements. You will also need to have a high-speed internet connection, with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps, to support VoIP communications. Fiber or cable connections are recommended, while DSL and satellite connections are not recommended. You will need to successfully pass our Network Performance Test, and have access to a PC that can run this test.
