Job Overview As a Remote Data Entry Operator and Typing Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management systems. This part-time position (20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day) offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.00. Your primary responsibility will be to provide data entry services, navigating multiple data systems with precision and efficiency. You will also perform a variety of clerical duties, including data entry into various databases, reviewing intake forms for completeness, and updating data systems with changes. Key Responsibilities - Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency, entering client personal data, services, and other relevant information into various databases - Search databases as needed and review intake forms for completeness, updating data systems with changes - Collaborate with the Healthcare Admin Jobs Data and Compliance Coordinator for systems evaluation and implementation - Perform other duties as assigned, including operating specialized office equipment such as fax machines, copy machines, and copiers - Utilize computer software and operating systems, including Excel, Word, and proprietary databases, to input, format, and edit data and documents - Operate personal computer with Windows operating system to start programs, input, format, and edit data files, and print or transmit data Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: - Language skills: ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, present information to others, read, interpret, and write routine reports and correspondence - Mathematical/money handling skills: basic counting skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide simple numbers, handle cash receipts, donations, postage, and petty cash - Reasoning ability: ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations - Computer skills: ability to type at least 55 words per minute, display competency in data entry, and utilize computer software and operating systems, including Excel, Word, and proprietary databases Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: - Previous experience in data entry or a related field - Strong understanding of data systems and their functionality - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
