To be successful in this role, you will need to possess basic office and computer skills, as well as exceptional communications and customer service skills, including the ability to handle client behaviors such as fear, hostility, and aggression. You should have knowledge of mathematics and accounting principles used in the calculation of public assistance benefits, as well as the general provisions, objectives, and philosophy of public assistance programs.
