The Role: Remote Chat Agent

As a Remote Chat Agent at blithequark, you'll be the frontline representative of our customer engagement efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to and engage with inbound chat and text messages from our customers in a timely, professional, and personalized manner. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that requires a unique blend of communication skills, automotive knowledge, and technical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to and engage in conversation with inbound chat/text messages, ensuring prompt and thoughtful interactions.
• Provide grammatically correct and contextually relevant responses that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
• Engage with conversations within 1 minute of receipt, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and efficiency.
• Identify and report system errors or anomalies, contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer engagement platforms.
• Work a set minimum number of conversations per hour, balancing quality and productivity.
• Operate within multiple software platforms, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Maintain a high level of performance, with an Effective Response Accuracy (ERA) above 10%, to ensure coaching and development opportunities or potential termination are avoided.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications:

To succeed as a Remote Chat Agent at blithequark, you'll need:

• Knowledge of the automobile industry, including various makes and models of vehicles.
• Access to high-speed internet, ensuring seamless connectivity and communication.
• A high school diploma or GED, demonstrating a foundational level of education.

• Previous experience in customer service or a related field, particularly in the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to craft engaging responses.
• Technical proficiency, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software platforms and tools.

We have two available schedules for this role:

Schedule 1: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (11:00 AM - 9:00 PM), Thursday (11:00 AM - 9:00 PM), Friday (11:00 AM - 9:00 PM), Saturday (11:00 AM - 9:00 PM), and Sunday (OFF).

Schedule 2: Monday (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM), Tuesday (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM), Wednesday (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM), Thursday (OFF), Friday (OFF), Saturday (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM), and Sunday (OFF).

Please note that the work schedule is subject to change based on department needs.
