This is a direct hire, full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate of $22.00, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan with a company match. As a remote position based in the EST zone, the successful candidate will work from the comfort of their own home, adhering to a schedule of either 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM EST. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent GED, along with at least 1+ years of managed care experience and/or medical office experience, specifically in coding or credentialing. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as adherence to Managed Care Organization's policies and confidentiality requirements. The ability to maintain reliable attendance based on the agreed-upon schedule and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations is critical.
While not mandatory, preferred candidates will have previous experience working in a medical office setting, with a strong background in provider credentialing or related positions. Familiarity with claims, coding, or credentialing processes is highly desirable, as well as experience with data entry and maintenance in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers.
