**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting pharmacists with prescription dispensing, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You'll work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure seamless customer interactions, resolve issues promptly, and promote arenaflex's products and services.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
* Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
* Assists pharmacists with prescription dispensing, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
* Maintains a clean and organized store environment, including counters, shelves, and inventory areas.
* Recommends items for sale to customers and suggests trade-up and/or companion items.
* Processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
* Takes customer to OTC aisle when possible to assist in locating products.
* Keeps inventory levels accurate and performs duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager.
**Essential Qualifications**
* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
* Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
* High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Basic math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
* Prior work experience with arenaflex preferred.
* Good math skills and ability to accurately fill prescriptions.
* Good computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy systems.
* Knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification.
