Key Responsibilities: Delivering Exceptional Customer Experience
- Customer Experience: Engage customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Pharmacy Operations: Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions under direct supervision.
- Sales and Customer Service: Register sales on assigned cash register, provide courteous and efficient checkout service, and recommend items for sale to customers.
- Store Maintenance: Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.
- Pharmacy Support: Utilize pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, and verify medicine correctness.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
- Customer Service in Photo Area: Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
- Web Pick-up Responsibilities: Monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, fill orders, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
Essential Qualifications: Skills and Competencies
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a pharmacy or retail environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures.
- Ability to learn and use pharmacy systems and technology.
- Certification/registration as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) or willingness to obtain certification.
