Key Responsibilities
- Carry out direct patient care programs, including Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects.
- Drive the execution of various strategies and initiatives to ensure business needs are being met, and guarantee region pharmacies comply with regulatory compliance, standard operating systems, and FDA guidelines.
- Lead local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies to company financial goals, and execute patient intervention pharmacy projects to maximize financial performance.
- Support efforts to improve patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services, such as patient consultation, prescription management, and medication therapy reviews.
- Provide expertise, resources, training, and support to pharmacists and field leadership, and promote collaboration and motivate Pharmacy staff by fostering a shared vision and supporting company policies, strategies, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Conduct data and clinical reviews, and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and propriety of prescriptions.
- Review medication profiles and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment, and provide personalized patient/supplier consultation.
- Respond to patient inquiries, and provide clinical counsel and information to patients, physicians, and insurance plans as needed.
- Perform other work consistent with the job obligations in this record as assigned by management.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Current Pharmacist license as granted by the appropriate state licensing authority.
- Experience motivating colleagues to investigate and resolve issues.
- Experience working with confidential information.
- Able to work non-standard hours, which may include nights, holidays, and/or weekends.
- Experience utilizing time management skills, such as prioritizing/organizing and following details, and meeting time constraints of various projects with varying completion dates.
- Experience creating ways to achieve goals with minimal supervision, relying on oneself to complete goals, and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
- Able to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:
- Willingness to obtain other state pharmacy licenses if necessary.
- Knowledge of insurance plans.
- Knowledge of PC operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus.
- Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
