About the Role
blithequark's Patient Billing Customer Service department within the Revenue Cycle Management Division is seeking energetic, passionate, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Customer Service Support Representative. Key Responsibilities
- Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's offices, and/or private insurance carriers, providing exceptional support and resolution to their inquiries and concerns.
- Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring that they receive the necessary support and guidance to manage their accounts effectively.
- Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in navigating complex systems and applications.
- Maintain performance goals, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, and demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, demonstrating a foundation in basic skills and knowledge.
- Minimum 1+ year of work experience required, preferably in a customer-facing role, such as medical billing, customer service, insurance claims, or a related field.
- Previous work in a high-volume call environment with several computer windows open is highly desirable, demonstrating the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Previous interaction and communication with patients regarding medical information is strongly preferred, demonstrating a high level of empathy and understanding of patient needs and concerns.
