Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Part Time Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our team as a Customer Service Representative for Walgreens retail pharmacy operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing patient enrollment, and handling high-volume client requests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
- Utilize Walgreens' remedy information entry methods and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the appropriate system, handling patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines, and entering refill orders for processing.
- Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis.
- Resolve External Exceptions by researching, gathering data, making amendments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual arrangement requirements. Make phone calls to backup plans and others to acquire data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise resolve the External Exceptions.
- Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations, recognizing and conveying issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
- Acquire active professional license or certification within the initial 90 days and maintain an active professional license or certification.
Essential Capabilities
- Basic computer skills (e.g., start and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and shut down programs, switch between programs, save files, print documents, and access data online).
- Basic web search skills to include opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct field, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
- Transitional-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, arranging reports).
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Preferred Capabilities
- At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
- Transitional to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, arranging documents).
- Familiarity with Spanish and English.
