Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, effectively resolving customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Develop a deep understanding of our consumer deposit products and services, educating customers on the benefits and features of each offering
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners
- Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank, deepening relationships and building strong partnerships that drive business growth and customer satisfaction
- Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of compliance and integrity
- Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation, continually seeking opportunities for growth and development
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success and effectiveness of the team
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of customer service or military service experience in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role. Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree can be substituted for the required experience. You must also be able to work 30-35 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- 1 year or more of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales
- Cash handling skills and experience with financial transactions
- Comfort with technology, including mobile services and online banking services
