Job Overview
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for executing strategies that support the growth of ocean volumes and enhance the development of the ocean product. Working closely with the Managing Director of Ocean, you will play a key part in supporting carrier development, pricing, analyzing carrier service, routings, carrier performance, and resolving carrier service issues. As an ocean subject matter expert, you will also provide support to sales and operations teams, helping to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and communicate strategies to increase volumes, maximize competitiveness, enhance service, and support adherence to preferred networks
- Assist in implementing pricing programs and review volume targets to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Work closely with the Managing Director of Ocean, global trade lane team, sales, and operations to communicate direction and deliverables
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Provide expert advice and guidance on ocean-related matters to support sales and operations teams
- Collaborate with product, sales, and operations teams to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and minimize risk
- Direct and indirect customer contact will be required, providing exceptional customer service and support
