Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our Director of Nursing and nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans for our residents, ensuring optimal care and outcomes.
- Apply the nursing process through assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating plans of care for assigned residents.
- Perform resident care in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Protect and enforce the rights and responsibilities of our residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are respected.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Current State of Hawaii Registered Nurse License.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Level C certification, with re-training every two years.
- First Aid & CPR Certification.
- Physical exam within the last year.
- 2 Step TB, followed by 1 Step TB within the last year.
- 2 professional references.
- Excellent written, verbal, non-verbal, and active listening communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience in hospice, long-term, or acute care settings.
- Experience with PointClickCare or similar care management systems.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed and attend mandatory training sessions.
